1. Pour a small amount of a mild dishwashing detergent into a rectangular bucket and fill with cold water.
2. Dunk the window washer into the soapy water and rub it over the glass to loosen the dirt and grime.
3. Squeegee off before the detergent evaporates from the glass.
4. Dry the squeegee blade with a microfibre cloth each time after removing it from the glass and dry any edges or windowsills.
