So we built two homes (one for us, one a granny flat). All the same tiles, grout, tilER, etc. I glass treated all of our showers, but only grout treated the ones in the main house. Let me TELL you the difference is absolutely wild. I have to scrub the one that I didn't use it on, and even after scrubbing and chemicals etc it still looks dirty. But the 2 I did treat - I don't need to even use a chemical. I just scrub it with a scourer or grout brush (probably not even recommended but anyway that's what I do)- and it comes up absolutely pristine with very little effort. We have lived in this house with multiple showers a day for 3 years and it is still working perfectly. I thought I'd come to leave the review I was looking for 3 years ago. Non negotiable for me now, would recommend for every shower, especially if it's brand new as you don't have to do a preliminary deep scrubbing. This is in the top 5 things I've ever purchased. Life is way too short to waste on grout!
